Yes, it’s a highly eclectic and delusional niche of ideology that exploits Soviet mythology and emphasizes Eastern Slavic/Orthodox unity.
Now that Western Slavic nations have discovered their unity under the NATO-EU umbrella — and behind the Schengen Curtain — proponents of Eastern Slavic unity may actually use the "isolation argument" to their advantage.
In my dreams, I see Ukraine as part of the European club, but that vision may be more than a decade down the road.
