I gave up on not strategically voting in major single-member elections a while back....
I remember telling folks before the last prez election that I'd vote for whomever ran a less negative (and more issue-oriented) campaign. But I might not have said that if I hadn't been almost sure that such a candidate wd inevitably be Obama.
