When she returned the courtesy, she used the word tyrit (тырить — Russian slang/Putin-speak for steal).
Putin uses tyrit to describe what he calls Ukraine’s theft of Russian gas — every time Gazprom cuts off gas supplies.

Naturally, she has a whole staff of people who write talking points and speeches for her. So I’d love to know if she used the word tyrit on the advice of AKPD.
Even though the fall of communism didn’t quite result in a happy kind of capitalism for Ukraine, I still like Reagan's collection of Soviet jokes .
