Brodsky Uncut

Enjoy these two versions of a Mykhailo Brodsky commercial. Brodsky, a former BYuT member, is running for mayor.

Am not sure how Guiliani will help Klitschko's numbers in Kyiv esp. as the Tymo ad splash is working to make Turchynov 'warm and cuddly' and he will win on her braids, if nothing upsets applecart.

"but Mr. Giuliani said that his staff members would be traveling to Kiev for three days next week and would release a report about what lessons in anticorruption Kiev can draw from the experience of other cities, including New York."

"28,6% киян готові підтримати Олександра ТУРЧИНОВА і 43,5% - Блок Юлії Тимошенко на дострокових виборах мера Києва та Київської міської ради."

Brodsky is an interesting character that makes politics "fun" - but his "murkyness" (hv learnt from following article - http://www.economist.com/world

does "plague the land"

The following says that 33% would vote for ChernoCO which would put him over the top and into the Mayor's seat. Katerunchyk is ahead of Klitschko which makes sense to me. Kinda wish everyone would drop out and let Katerunchyk be the 'democratic' choice. Though in the all important choice about which political party would back ChernoCo was 23% with Tymo bloc a close 21% and then Klitschko 13% and then Katerunchyk 6%

Starting to think that it is the same situation as prior to the past elections and that the 'war' in numbers is going on regarding surveys and polls.

This is an absolutely disgusting, appalling and odious display on the part of Brodsky.

It displays the HUGE contempt that he and other Ukrainian politicians have for the Ukrainian electorate and for the Ukrainian people.

If I were running for mayor, I would play that video on TV and everywhere else over and over and over again, and paste the last picture frame of him giving everyone the finger on every billboard I could find.

Luida, I'm not sure how Guiliani will help Klitchko either.

When Guiliana ran for president, he campaigned by - not campaigning.

He was certainly mayor of New York City, and apparantly his angle is to help Klitchko find ways to get rid of corruption.

The way to get rid of corruption, as a start, is to get rid of Chernoco, the space cadet, the Martian.

"Cheapest Bread in Town" - that's Chernoco's billboard for mayor.

What the heck does that mean?

Thank you for the great links, Luida!

It’s good to know that The Economist keeps tabs on things:)

As for the polls, they all show different numbers, which undermines their credibility. I do believe, however, that Chernovetsky will get reelected unless the opposition unites against him.

Thank you for noting the “cheapest bread” billboard, Elmer!

That billboard epitomizes the Pavlovian pitch of the Chernoco campaign.

Kyiv indeed boasts one of the lowest bread prices in the country, a tradition started by former mayor Omelchenko.

Unfortunately, man doesn’t live by bread alone. Not only do we have the highest housing prices in Ukraine, but we also have one of the highest costs of living in Eastern Europe.

Not so with our incomes.

Thinking that Klitschko should have u Taras to be on his campaign team rather than Guiliani. Elmer is right, the first thing to do is win the election. And bringing in an American firm can only hurt Kli's numbers. Sigh. Afraid, you are right and that ChernoCo will get back in unless they unite or PM Tymo loses her job and goes into opposition. Her numbers always rise while in opposition. Though bet. now and May 25th if that did happen all it would lead to would be mayhem and a guaranteed win for ChernoCo.

Me? On his campaign?

I ain’t got that much money or connections to be valuable:) Anyway, thanks for the nomination!;)))

I, too, don’t see how Guiliani can boost Klychko’s rating to any significant extent. And I stand by my word on the need for the opposition to unite around the strongest challenger. That’s the math.

Even if they don’t join ranks, I still will exercise my voting rights. I’ll run through the polls on the eve of the election for a “composite index” and will go with the “strongest challenger.”
