Hasta la Vista, RosUkrEnergo?

Starting this year, there will be no intermediaries. A work group is now being set up between Naftogaz and Gazprom. I hope that in a year’s time we will resolve all issues. The gas will come from Gazprom to Naftogaz.

— Naftogaz head Oleh Dubyna, speaking during President Yushchenko's official visit to Moscow

Is the Ukrainian delegation speaking with one voice?

But what will happen to those un-employed millionaires? As well as how will Gazprom be able to continue to make as much money via direct sales and partial ownership in each of the two intermediaries?

You mean billionaires:)?

Dubyna's statement is quite a sensation. It's too good to be true. Even if it's true, there must be some kind of fine print.

OK, let's wait and see.
